This is a two-day sports injury CPD course [16 hours CPD] introducing participants to the management of sports injuries using:
• A TCM clinical model
• A Western evidence based clinical model
Lecturer: Therese Parsons, M.Phil, Lic.Ac. Dip.Herb. Therese is an international lecturer and clinician. She has completed a research masters in acupuncture at Exeter University and Post graduate studies on Bio Medical Acupuncture. She has taught students and practitioners in both the UK and Ireland over the past 20 years.
Learning Objectives: On completion of the course participants will gain knowledge and understanding of:
• The aetiology and clinical presentation of common sports injuries
• Differential diagnosis and clinical assessment of sports injuries
• Acupuncture interventions for sports injuries
